Mar de montanhas

This drawing was made after a poem i wrote a few years ago (2019). I was living in a village on the top of a valley and, in a clear day, i could see the sea on the horizon, just a thin line of a fading blue. I missed the sea at the time and so a mixed the sea and the mountains where i was living in.

The poem:

Das montanhas vejo o mar

E no mar um mar de montanhas

E delas volto ao mar

Para imaginar mais montanhas.

From the mountains I see the sea

And in the sea a sea of mountains

And from them I return to the sea

To imagine more mountains.
